I am just starting a branch of the famiy tree who came to Manchester in England from Armenia pre.1915. One of the surnames was Gulesserian and they had a successful business in textiles (silk trade).

If anyone has any information about the surname Gulesserian (where it orginates, is it common etc) or about Armenian communities in Manchester I would love to hear from you.
