Looking for Der Avanessian in ethiopia

My Grandfather's name is Mesrop Der Avanessian he passed away when my father was 1 year old. My father was born and was then living in Ethiopia, Africa. My grandfather was exiled with king Hail Selassie, and was a engineer working with the king.
The only thing i have is some pictures of them together.
My father and his 3 siblings then left ethiopia and went to live with their aunt and uncle in Tehran, Iran.
If anyone knows of any info that would be great.
