I look for any informations on Zournadjian family name, it could be different spelling as Zornajian or Zernadjian.
they were from Parchanj and they've started to travel to US before 1900. If someone has info please contact me. Ariane

My grandfather was Zournadjian, he was an orphan, I think from Malatia orphanages, settled in Beirut and did very well.
I don't know where Parchanj is but I think Dir bakir may be where he was. The last Armenian in Dir Bakir (recently Died) was from the Zournadjian family. I am trying to trace my grandfather roots, his days in the orphanges.

I don't think Zournadjian is not a big family, and most of my grandfathers side were massaced in the Genocide

but for sure, my family was from parchanj and i've never heard about one them living in diar bekir, or in an orphenage in Malatia.
