I'll see if I can help you. I assume that your Steven Martin Shooshan is the one who lived in Hancock County, West Virginia. Is that the same one? Have you found when he arrived in the USA?

What can you tell me about his brother Manoog? I found a confectioner (candy shop owner) of that name who lived in Worcester, Massachusetts. Is that Steven's brother? That Manoog Shooshan listed his parents as Lazare Shooshan and Mariam Nalbandian on his marriage record to Eva Parent (12 March 1907, Worcester). See https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... wc=6961446.

Did you know that Shooshan is a female name in Armenian, equivalent to Susan?
