My grandfather was from Harpout. Came to Philadelphia, PA in early 1900's. First name may have been Kevork or George. He worked on old Persian rugs touching up the colors. His wife was Margred and they had 3 sons and one daughter. I'm trying to trace my family back to Harpout. And also want to know the meaning of my name.

It reminds me of the prefix of the Greek "Kazantzidis" or "Kazantzis" (I dont know if the "j" is pronounced as "tz"). Kazantzis means pot-producer from the turkish "kazanci" which means pot.
