Go to http://radio-gayane.com/ and click on the iTunes symbol at the far right and you can subscribe to radio-gayane. They play Armenian music around the clock. I gather they are located in or near Paris, France. I find it soothing to listen to the music of our ancestors. [/url]

The Lycos "who where" search site comes up with 29 hits on the last name Yeghiazarian and 7 hits on Hamamdjian. You can check this yourself at http://www.whowhere.com/. Of course, there's no way of knowing if any listed people are relatives but it might give you a starting point to contact...

My grandmother, who maiden name was Boyajian and was from Marash (famous for its ice cream), used to tell me that it meant son of a painter. But she didn't know the background. Thanx for sharing that.
