Ilda Simonian is an Armenian mezzo-soprano from İstanbul is living in Netherland.
She made a music album from Turkish producer Kalan music.
Name of album is Izler-Hedker-Traces.

found some history grad student. although she cannot decipher everything, she said following name sofia (not sure) birthplace (derseadet, istanbul) religion: christian (traditional sect of armenian, Apostolic, this excludes catholic or protestants, ) will visit her teacher afterwards for more reading

U.S. Passport Applications, 1795-1925 has some Samoorian's
(very similar spelling, names like Melkon and Sultan, sounding Armenian)

Unfortunately I cannot read the hand written script very well. the sixth row from up (excluding short rows) (the one below the unpopulated row on left side) gives the previous owner. in all these documents compare this row with corresponding row in other documents.
